The viral music video for GENER8ION'S STORM I & II, directed by Romain Gavras and featuring Yung Lean has just been announced as one as the winners of Music Video of the Year 2026 at the Eyecandy Awards.
First released on April 24 2026, the now award-winning video features Alex as a bully alongside the Swedish rapped Yung Lean. It soon became an online sensation and enjoys continued success having amassed over 16,811,000 views to date on YouTube alone.

Just four months after it's release onto podcast platforms, the entire first series of For King and Country will be broadcast on Harborough FM Radio.
As Alex announced in an interview on the radio, episodes one and two will air on 2nd July followed by episodes three and four on the 9th. The series will feature on the popular Movie and Musicals Show hosted by Owen Brooks, airing at around 7:20 pm.
As well as listening on the radio, you can tune in via the Harborough FM website, the HFM app, which is available on the app store and google play, on your smart speaker or via TuneIn.
After the initial announcement in the live interview, Podcasting Today announced further details exclusively on their platform.

London's 180 Studios present Visions of 2034 a new exhibition from Gener8ion which will premiere seven new short films as well as unseen footage and alrernative scenes from previous works including STORM in this immersive instillation.
The exhibition will run from 12 June - 31 July 2026.
"Set in a near-future 2034, the exhibition explores how codes can be disrupted and reinvented through love, emotion, and dance."

Just a month after it's release, STORM has now become a social media phenomenon reaching a mammoth 13 million views on YouTube alone as well as reaching number 1 on over 13 Spotify Viral Daily Charts globally and peaking at number 2 and 4 in Sweden and the UK respectively.
The video has also been discussed in a variety of publications such as Rolling Stone, The FADER, Views France, Pigeons & Planes, Hypetrak, Dazed, Art and Clique.

Kit, one of the most recent films from Slick Films, will play at the BIFA qualifying Brighton Rocks International Film Festival.
The film will screen as part of Drama Rocks III on 20 June from 13 00 - 15 00.
Kit's screening in Brighton marks the film's UK debut after it's world premiere at Cleveland International Film Festival.

Alex's writing debut, For King and Country, is set to be released from this Friday!
Episode One titled "Conscription" will be available from 6 March with the remaining episodes also being released on Fridays for the next three weeks.

Slick Films have annouced that one of their latest films Kit, which Alex filmed for back in 2024 will have it's world premiere at the prestigous Cleveland International Film Festival.
Kit will screen as part of the Parability Shorts programme on 12 and 13 April.
2026 will be the 50th anniversary year of the Academy Award-qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival. What a brilliant way to start Kit's festival journey.

For King and Country is a brand-new four-part fictional comedy-drama podcast series written by Alexander Hogg. Recorded at The Mushrooms Studios, Birmingham under the direction of A.D.M. Moore, the story follows three young friends as they go through the trials and tribulations that come with training for national service.

For the third consecutive year, Nativity! The Musical, has tonight begun another major UK tour. The show has opened at The Wolverhampton Grand where it will play until 2 November before embarking on the rest of it's tour.
As has become tradition, the show will close with a run at The Eventim Apollo, London on 29 December where Rylan Clark, Sharon Osbourne and Danny Dyer will join the cast. They will appear alongside Dani Dyer who will also tour with the show before reaching London.

Today, BroadwayWorldUK have announced the principal touring company of children for the 2019 UK tour of Nativity! The Musical which will open at The Wolverhampton Grand Theatre in October.
Just as the year before, Alex will return to the show to again play the roles of Ollie and Child Gordon Shakespeare which he originated alongside the role of the Oakmoor pupil Rupert in 2017.
Alex is really excited to return to Nativity! and he is equally looking forward to playing The Wolverhampton Grand once again, where his career began in 2017.

Bill Kenwright's brand-new UK tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has arrived at The Birmingham Hippodrome where it will play until 13 July.
Alex will join the tour for it's stay at The Hippodrome as part of the children's choir.

This year's annual festive edition of CBBC's BAFTA-winning entertainment programme, Sam & Mark's Big Friday Wind-Up, will air tonight closing with a performance from the cast of Nativity! The Musical.
Alex will perform with the rest of the St Bernadette's child cast in a special performance of the hugely popular number, Sparkle and Shine.

The staff and students of St Bernadette's are back!
Following the cast and crew premiere in Coventry, today, Nativity Rocks! has been released into cinemas around the UK.
Filmed in Coventry and the wider West Midlands, making use of the franchises signature improvisational acting style, Nativity Rocks! sees Mr. Poppy, Mr. Johnson and the children compete in a televised rock opera competition led by the world-famous Emanuel Cavendish (Craig Revel-Horwood).

Nativity! has come home!
Tonight Nativity! The Musical begins it's second major UK tour at The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry, where the show and the 2009 film it is based on is set.
The show will tour around the UK before, once again, returning to it's London home The Eventim Apollo where it's run will come to an end on 31 December.
This tour will also include a variety of star casting in different venues as well as featuring Danny Dyer, Dani Dyer and Jo Brand in London.

Mirrorball Films have announced the release of their latest feature film, Nativity Rocks! The latest installment in Debbie Isitt's hit Nativity! series, the forth film promises to bring as much mayhem and festive joy as it's predecessor's.
Ahead of the film's release, Marlon Brennan from The Express and Star sat down with Alex and his parents to discuss his career including his upcoming screen debut.

WhatsOnStage have announced the leading cast for the return of Nativity! The Musical which will once again tour across the UK before enjoying a run at The Eventim Apollo, London.
Original Mr. Poppy, Simon Lipkin, will return to the show alongside Scott Garnham as Paul Maddens and Ashleigh Gray as Jennifer Lore.
After huge success originating the roles, Alex will return as Child Gordon Shakespeare and Ollie for a second run.

Kilworth House Theatre's highly anticipated in-house production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice classic Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat begins it's run tonight.
Having extended by an extra week three months before opening, this re-imagined production of Joseph promises to be a run away success.

After the first day of rehearsals, Kilworth House Theatre, have today announced the children's cast for their upcoming production of the Webber and Rice smash Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Reuniting with Nativity! The Musical creatives, Andrew Wright (director and choreographer of Joseph) and George Dyer (musical director), Alex will feature in the children's ensemble representing the colour chocolate.
Joseph will run from 25 July until 9 September, having already extended by a week due to phenomenal demand.

Tonight The Wolverhampton Grand's in-house production of Ladies' Day opens and it will run until 28 July.
The show's writer, Amanda Whittington, has newly adapted her play for The Grand, moving the setting to the Black Country.
Come along to see Ladies' Day as it's never been seen before.

Alex will be returning to The Wolverhampton Grand this summer in the ensemble of their newly adapted version of Amanda Whittington's play Ladies' Day.
The theatre have announced that the show will be led by television stars Cheryl Fergison (as Jan), Deena Payne (as Pearl), Emma Rigby (as Shelley) and Roisin O'Neill (as Linda). They will be joined by Sean McKenzie in all the male roles and Tony Christie, whose music is used in the play, will be singing live at every performance.

Nativity! The Musical opens tonight at The Birmingham Rep. As one of the show's producer's Nativity! will play at The Rep until 12 November before headnig out on a major No.1 UK tour and enjoying a residency as London's Eventim Apollo before completing it's tour at Leeds Grand Theatre on 6 January 2018.

The full cast for the world premiere UK tour of Nativity! The Musical, based on the hit Christmas film Nativity!, has been announced.
Alex will play Child Gordon Shakespeare / Ollie and Rupert on rotation for the entire duration of the tour as well as the London run at The Eventim Apollo during which Louis Walsh will make his stage debut as The Hollywood Producer.
