Nativity! The Musical

Returning for a third year in a row due to enormous success, Nativity! The Musical toured for a third time in 2019 with Debbie Isitt (I Should Be So Lucky, Christmas on Mistletoe Farm), the show's writer and co-composer who also created the hit film that formed the basis for the show, directing once again. As before, the show was produced by Jamie Wilson Productions along with The Birmingham Rep, Coventry Belgrade and Ramin Sabi.

This time round, Scott Paige (Kinky Boots, The Great British Bake Off Musical) led the cast as Mr. Poppy for the tour and Simon Lipkin (Oliver!, Elf the Musical) returned for the show's London run. Scott Garnham (Billy Elliot the Musical, Made In Dagenham) and Ashleigh Gray (Only Fools and Horses: The Musical, Wicked) both returned as Mr. Maddens and as Jennifer Lore respectively. Alex, once again, reprised his roles of Child Gordon Shakespeare and Ollie that he originated in 2017 and first returned to in 2018.

The 2019 tour began at The Wolverhampton Grand Theatre and concluded with another residency at London's Eventim Apollo over the festive season. After appearing in London in 2018, Dani Dyer joined the company and toured with the show as Polly Parker. When the show arrived in London, she was joined by her father Danny Dyer, Sharon Osbourne and Rylan Clark as detailed below. To accommodate the casting of Mrs. Osbourne, the role of Crystal Collins (the Hollywood Producer's mother) was especially written into the show.

Recorded during the show's 2017 run, the Nativity! The Musical Original Cast Recoding was released digitally and on CD on 29 January 2018. Comprising of 29 tracks, the album has been available for purchase at the merch stand of every subsequent professional production.
